PerBacco! literally By Bacchus, but translatable as 'nom d'une pipe !!' in English. A typical Piedmontese expression of surprise and my maternal grandfather's favourite exclamation.


Concept of 'casalinga' cuisine, i.e. traditional Italian quality cuisine with an emphasis on northern Italian specialities, including Tuscany, Liguria, Piedmont, Emilia Romagna, Lombardy and Veneto.


Idea by Andrea Molaschi, born in Milan in 1964, ship broker for 30 years, great lover and promoter of Italian food and wine. With his Tuscan and Ligurian origins, a restaurant owner's licence and a wealth of family recipes, Andrea took over the old Micky's bar and turned it into a perBacco! With the talented Christian Travostino on the stove, and Andrea in the dining room, customers are always in for a treat!
